Stunning gold vermeil vintage reproduction medal featuring St. Joseph and the Guardian Angel on the verso.
 
St. Joseph stands regally among the lilies, sign of His Most Chaste Heart, with the Latin invocation, “Sancte Joseph, protege nos,” ~ “St. Joseph, protect us,” surrounding him.  Turn the medal to discover a beautiful Guardian Angel protecting a child with the Latin prayer, “Angele Dei, custodi nos,” ~ “Angel of God, watch over us,” around the frame.
 
The medal is 25mm by 18mm gold vermeil (gold covered sterling silver).  A pearl and 14k gold edged hand-made pearl charm accent the piece.  Strung on a 18”-20” adjustable gold satellite chain with handmaid pearl charm at closure.
